Music. Community Conversation. Telling Our Stories.

Come enjoy a night where you will see and experience powerful community conversation, dialogue, and hear stories from folks in the community who have lived experience with mental health challenges. Be apart of NAMI Urban LA's (National Alliance on Mental Illness Urban LA, http://www.namiurbanla.org/) event in honor of National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Witness powerful musical performances by Natalie Cadet and Marguerite Alexis, two women of color who use their music as platforms to discuss mental health, social justice, and change in their communities respectively in their own right. There will be food, community, and an atmosphere of love, hope, and unity. Together we are stronger, and by sharing our stories, we will come out better than ever. Marguerite Alexis is the creator and director of this event.
