Marguerite Alexis is the School Based Outreach Coordinator at NAMI Urban LA (http://www.namiurbanla.org/ working with young people on mental health awareness and stigma reduction. She is also a full time musical artist--- singer, songwriter, pianist, and record producer on the rise. She uses both her platforms in mental health, having lived experience with mental illness herself and her music as conduits for change.
