Marguerite’s Album Release Party “I Am” EP, by Marguerite Alexis on all digital streaming platforms. This took place at a Yoga Studio, Crenshaw Yoga and Dance in South Los Angeles, her hometown.

The workshop titled, ""Holistic Healing and Mental Health for Communities of Color" was created by musical artist, mental wellness advocate, and reiki practitioner Marguerite Alexis Ferrera (http://freedomandsoulhealing.com) along with Dr. Thema Bryant Davis (http://www.drthema.com), Psychologist and Sacred Artist and Yoga Teacher Lauren Ross. This workshop explored the power of the intersection of natural healing modalities like yoga, reiki, and the creative arts with regard to how it can uplift one’s mental wellness and spiritual consciousness.

Telling Out Stories II” created by Marguerite Alexis Ferrera, Social Media Coordinator at NAMI Urban LA. This panel highlighted focused on mental health and communities of color on topics such as: mental illness, ending the stigma of mental illness, health insurance, psychiatry, therapy, decolonizing ourselves as people of color, LGBTQIA+ inclusivity, racism, trauma, healing, and recovery
